Moonseed vs. Wild Grape

MOONSEED (Menispermum canadense) — the fruit is deadly.

The tell: Moonseed vine has NO tendrils, and each fruit holds ONE crescent-moon-shaped seed. Wild grape always has FORKED tendrils and several round/oval seeds per fruit. Cut a fruit open and look at the seeds.

Rule: No tendrils, one crescent seed — deadly.
